The lighting design for this private villa in Doha was developed through the concept and schematic stages. Lighting plans and sectional studies were coordinated to establish appropriate light levels and integrate the luminaires with the architecture. The scheme balances functional illumination with a comfortable residential atmosphere across the different areas of the villa.
Room-by-room lighting control schedules and luminaire schedules were prepared as part of the design package. Three specification alternatives were also shared with the procurement team, providing flexibility in performance, availability and budget while maintaining the overall lighting intent.
