The lighting design approach focused on balancing functional requirements with the warm and layered spatial atmosphere defined by the project’s strong material palette and colour selections. Since beauty salons require careful consideration of visual comfort, accurate light levels and controlled shadow management, the lighting scheme was developed to support both user experience and operational needs.

This project also provided an opportunity to explore the specific technical requirements of lighting design within beauty and personal care environments. Particular attention was given to task lighting quality, facial illumination, ambient balance and the relationship between decorative surfaces and indirect lighting layers.

Through a collaborative design process with the architectural team, a cohesive lighting language was developed to reinforce the character of the interior while maintaining comfort and spatial clarity throughout the salon.
