Rooted in Human-Centric Lighting (HCL), the GSK Istanbul office design focuses on the biological and emotional well-being of its occupants. Long-term meteorological data shows that Istanbul averages only 84 sunny days a year, meaning natural light rarely reaches deep into open-plan office layouts. Our vision was to turn artificial lighting into the ultimate replicator of daylight, effectively bringing the sky indoors.

Reflecting a truly user-centric approach, the peak color temperature was refined from 6500K to 5000K based on direct employee feedback, resulting in a living design that evolves with its users.
